The "Together on the Long March" international communication event took place in Gansu province from July 13 to 18.

Experts, media professionals, and international friends from countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and New Zealand, along with Party history researchers and descendants of Red Army soldiers, visited historic Long March sites where they reflected on the revolutionary history. These sites include Lazikou, Hadapu town, and Huining county, which mark the Party's strategic retreat from 1934 to 1936.

David Bromwich, a recipient of the Chinese Government Friendship Award and former chair of the New Zealand China Friendship Society, was deeply moved by what he witnessed during the visit. He said he believes the Long March was pivotal in shaping China's current path, and that its spirit remains vibrant in modern China.
