Electric workers were recently seen conducting quality inspection at an animal husbandry and photovoltaic power complementary distribution project site in Ganzhou district, Zhangye, Northwest China's Gansu province.
In the past few years, Ganzhou district has forged a new path for green development -- covering breeding shed roofs with photovoltaic panels to have power generation and livestock raising co-exist without conflict.
In this way, the idle sheds have been availed of the full range, achieving the organic unity of economic, ecological and social benefits.
As of now, 24 distributed projects have been implemented in the district, with the installed power generation capacity reaching about 40,000 kilowatts.
