On the morning of May 21, at 10:28 am, the mountaineering team led by Ma Xiao, a young man from Zhangye, Northwest China's Gansu province, summited Mount Everest, the world's highest peak.
Upon reaching the peak, Ma displayed the national flag of the People's Republic of China along with a banner carrying a touching message: "Congratulations on the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of Sunan Yugu autonomous county of Zhangye."
Ma completed the ascent in just nine days. During their journey, the team also conducted scientific experiments, including handheld ultrasound human body detection and EEG human body monitoring.
