'Sea Star' Entrepreneurship Camp held online
The 2022 "Sea Star" Entrepreneurship Camp and the 10th Session Training Class for Beijing Overseas Talents Entrepreneurship were held online from September 15 to 17, with over 30 experts participating.
Zhang Hongwen, deputy director of the Beijing Overseas Talents Center, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
Organized by the Beijing Overseas Talents Center and the Peking University Entrepreneurship Training Camp, the activity focused on the commercialization of technological achievements, aiming to help overseas entrepreneurship talents learn more about related policies, optimize the process and dock the resources of the commercialization of innovation achievements, thus promoting the industrialization of scientific and technological innovation.
During the training session, Ding Maozhan, chief editor of Internal Reference to Administrative Reform of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee (National Academy of Governance), analyzed the current macro situation and economic prospects, and shared his understanding about how to choose the right direction of entrepreneurship from economic and social perspectives.
Fu Qiang, president of Think Tank Media, explained the design and innovation of business models from the perspective of the industrial division of labor. Songhe Capital partner Zhang Guoxi used medical industry investment and financing cases to discuss how to carry out the initial financing.
Yang Ming, co-founder and president of Stock Book, introduced the equity design and partners' incentives through the equity dispute case of "Lux Lighting", and taught how to carry out equity design. Ha Da, a leading intellectual property service talent in Beijing, discussed the patent layout based on a product development process that followed intellectual property cases in the transfer and transformation of scientific research achievements. Huang Song, deputy director of the Beijing Institute of Life Sciences, shared the main scientific and technological achievements of the institute and the management methods of transfer and transformation.
Sun Qixin, director of the Transformation Department of the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, introduced the transformation models and cases of scientific and technological achievements in the United States, Britain, Germany and other European countries, as well as the new trends and features of the current transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Chen Baiqiang, director of the Technology Transfer Center of the Beijing Institute of Technology, gave a wonderful talk on the model of technology transformation citing typical cases.
In order to increase both mutual understanding between the students and opportunities for communication and cooperation, the entrepreneurship camp also designed online communication and discussion. The students introduced their own work results and heatedly discussed the idea and path of the transfer and transformation of results. The students said that they gained a lot, including innovative ideas, through intellectual exchange. They hoped that they could organize mutual communication and build a cooperation platform in the later stage of the entrepreneurship camp.
The Beijing Overseas Talents Center and the Peking University Entrepreneurship Training Camp will carry out a series of offline activities such as on-site teaching, a theme salon, and an investment and financing road show in order to provide students with richer communication opportunities and a broader service platform for the transfer and transformation of results.
