2nd meeting of Beijing Tour for Overseas Talents coming soon
The Beijing Overseas Talents Center (BOTC) will host a global promotional meeting for this year's Beijing Tour for Overseas Talents event at 19:00 Beijing time on March 30 to familiarize overseas talents with Beijing's employment policies and environment.
The Beijing Tour for Overseas Talents is a talent recruitment brand event that has become an important bridge for overseas talents and the capital city of China. Since 2010, it has invited outstanding overseas students from around the world to come to Beijing to connect with various governments, entrepreneurial parks, and employers. To date, the event has attracted a total of more than 20,000 participants from countries including the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Singapore.
Highlights of the event are:
· Introduction of entrepreneurship policies
Explaining the supportive policies for overseas talents to start a business in Beijing, the overall entrepreneurial environment, and policies and services for key overseas talent entrepreneurship parks.
· Release of Talent List
Explaining standards for high-level talents in four directions and releasing four talent lists globally. Recommending talents based on the lists and explaining Beijing's policies and services to them.
· Release of job vacancies
Releasing Beijing's job vacancies for overseas talents, including 870 job categories from 185 employers, totaling over 2,700 positions.
· Introduction of HICOOL Competition
Introducing the registration time, track setting, project collection conditions, award setting, and other information about the competition.

The 12th Beijing Tour for Overseas Talents & the First Global Promotional Event opened online on Dec 22, 2022, bringing together 13,000 overseas talents from across the world. With the theme of "Three Cities and One District", the event briefed Beijing's policies on introducing and serving innovative talents, and explained the BOTC's key projects. The event also posted over 2,000 positions from more than 120 companies, research institutions, universities, and medical institutions, and attracted participants from more than 10 countries, namely the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Russia.
