Dianbai in Maoming is pioneering a new approach to grassroots governance by integrating the "street stall economy" with urban civilization. This initiative, part of the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Project", aims to balance economic vitality with social order.

Dianbai has transformed traditional street vending into organized night markets, such as the agarwood night market in Guanzhu town. This market provides a platform for local agarwood farmers and attracts visitors with cultural performances.

Dianbai's strategy includes various innovative modes. The "Culture and Sports+" mode combines cultural events with street markets, enhancing the local cultural experience. The "Shopping Center+" mode leverages commercial resources to create mixed-use consumption scenes, while the "Idle Land+" mode repurposes vacant lots for organized street vending, boosting employment and land value.

Dianbai has implemented a "regulated freedom" approach to address challenges like environmental pollution and traffic congestion. This includes designated vending areas and times, ensuring orderly operations. Dianbai also emphasizes scientific management, with regular evaluations and a points-based system to maintain quality and safety standards.

Dianbai is committed to providing proactive services for vendors and essential facilities, thereby enhancing their livelihoods and enriching the urban atmosphere. This approach contributes to fostering a more vibrant and welcoming city environment.
