The 4,080 boxes of boxed liquid milk imported from New Zealand by Zhanjiang Liangwuxian Trading Co Ltd went on sale at the import goods exploration hall at the Zhanjiang Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) on Aug 7, marking that the bonded exhibition business was officially launched in west Guangdong.

According to an official of Xiashan Customs, which is under the jurisdiction of Zhanjiang Customs, the bonded exhibition business refers to bonded goods that can be displayed and sold first at the points of sale recognized by the customs, and then declared after sales before the end of the month.

This kind of business can delay the payment of import taxes and reduce the capital occupation pressure of enterprises.

Qualified enterprises registered at the Zhanjiang Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) can apply to the customs for the bonded exhibition business, added the official.

On the basis of the bonded exhibition business, Xiashan Customs will advance the landing of the bonded goods stocking business in the near future.
