Guangxi's electronic social security cards are now able to make payments at drug stores, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region recently announced.

Follow the steps below to apply for your electronic social security card and make payments with it:

Scan the following QR code to download the "Guangxi Human Resources and Social Security" app.

Open the app, enter the "Individual" interface, and click "Electronic social security card".

Input your cellphone number and check "I agree with the Electronic Social Security Card User Agreement" after reading it.

Scan your face for real name authentication.

Set a password for your card.

Click "Buy drug via QR code" to make a payment at a drugstore.
