According to Guangxi finance authorities, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has raised subsidy funds of 234 million yuan ($33.98 million) for entrepreneurship and employment of migrant workers.

Of the subsidy funds raised, 184 million yuan was used to support the award and supplement of migrant workers' entrepreneurial employment. It is preferentially used to implement the policies related to the employment subsidies for migrant workers, ensuring that the subsidies for migrant workers' entrepreneurship and employment will be delivered. Secondly, it is used for employment promotion activities of migrant workers, including supporting the cultivation of well-known labor service brands in the country, organizing the investigation of rural labor resources, and holding employment fairs for rural labor.

The remaining 50 million yuan was used to support the development of migrant workers' entrepreneurial parks. After quantified rating of the parks according to the capital investment, total production value, the number of enterprises put into operation, the number of migrant workers founded, quantity of employment, the number of peasant workers, and other factors, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has selected 10 migrant workers' entrepreneurial parks and each provided 5 million yuan of fund incentive support for the infrastructure construction.

As of the first quarter of 2019, the 38 migrant workers' entrepreneurial parks in Guangxi have settled in 805 enterprises, including 532 set up by migrant workers. These enterprises have employed 22,600 migrant workers, including 3,760 employees who were financially unstable.
