Guangxi, CECEP sign agreement to foster green development

Lan Tianli, acting chairman of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, met with the delegation led by Song Xin, chairman of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Nov 16.
A strategic cooperation agreement was signed between Guangxi and CECEP to enhance cooperation in areas spanning consultation and planning in energy conservation and environmental protection, new energy, as well as renewable energy sources.
A centrally-administered State-owned company specializing in energy efficiency and environmental protection, CECEP has worked extensively with Guangxi, investing in 19 projects in the region.
Lan expresses his gratitude for CECEP's support for Guangxi's socioeconomic development and outlined the region's current conditions in overall development, as well as in COVID-19 prevention and control measures.
He said that he hopes CECEP can make full use of its advantages and grasp the opportunities in Guangxi's initiatives for attracting companies to invest in Guangxi to increase its investment in the region and expand cooperation, making more contributions to the construction of Guangxi's ecological civilization.
Song noted that the company has attached great importance to its business development in Guangxi and is willing to make more contributions to Guangxi's green and high-quality development.
