Macao eases procedures for foreigners traveling to and from mainland
Starting from May 5, foreigners who have travelled to the Chinese mainland from Macao can immediately apply to return to the city without having to stay on the mainland for at least 21 days, as long as they have not been to any countries or regions outside the Chinese mainland or Macao in the 21 days prior to their re-entry, according to the Macao health authorities.
The new policy aims to facilitate travel for foreigners who travel frequently between the Chinese mainland and Macao for family reunions or important commercial, academic or other professional activities. The Macao SAR Health Bureau has launched an online application system for eligible foreign nationals (scan the QR code below).
