Zhou Lian, National People's Congress deputy, Party secretary, and chairman of Guangxi Investment Group, recently gave an interview to media outlets praising technological innovation for helping Chinese companies "go global," bringing more global influence to products made in China.
He noted that Alnan Aluminium, a subsidiary of Guangxi Investment Group, has grown into a global leading company and a manufacturer for first-class products in new aluminum materials due to continuous innovations. The company's products have now been sold in more than 40 countries and regions around the world.
"A smart manufacturing control platform was launched in 2021, realizing data connection in the scientific research, production, sales, and operation in regional aluminum deep-processing," Zhou added. "It can help increase production and management efficiency, as well as bolster our products' quality."
Zhou noted that the company has welcomed top customers in industries like aerospace, rail transportation, and 3C semiconductors, contributing greatly to the increase in China's aluminum processing industry's global competitiveness and influence.
He added that the company will make full use of markets and resources in countries alongside the Belt and Road, as well as take an active role in global industrial and supply chains' cooperation in the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period.
