The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) signing ceremony will be held on Sept 16.
CAEXPO will organize the signing of a number of international and domestic economic cooperation projects, with the signed projects highlighting key industrial chains.
The projects signed this year will highlight the sharing of RCEP opportunities and create the theme of building the 3.0 version of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area. They will highlight 15 key industrial chain projects, specially invited partners, as well as special economic and trade cooperation projects. They will also include projects connected with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone, as well as foreign-funded projects.
The previous three CAEXPO signing ceremonies featured the signing of 365 investment projects in Guangxi, covering key fields like manufacturing, new energy, and new materials. At present, nearly 60 percent of the signed projects have started construction, of which manufacturing projects account for 70 percent.
