In the first four months of this year, Guangxi's China-Vietnam freight trains have transported 3,216 standard containers of goods, 3,072 more containers than the same period last year and a growth rate of 2,133 percent.

Among these, 1,622 containers were shipped in April, surpassing the total shipments of the first quarter, marking the second consecutive month of record-high monthly shipments, and further boosting the development of trade between China and Vietnam.

Since the beginning of this year, leveraging the advantages of the Nanning International Railway Port as a comprehensive logistics hub, efforts have been continuously made to strengthen freight organization, tailor transportation solutions for enterprises, and collaborate with Yinzhou Customs to promote the "fast-track" railway model.

This has provided precise guidance to enterprises on utilizing policy incentives, expanding the scope of applicability and declarants of the fast-track business model, enhancing transport facilitation, and attracting new sources of goods such as power transmission towers from Southwest China, tempered glass from Beihai, timber from Wuming, and steel pipes from Shandong to converge in Nanning for export to Vietnam via the China-Vietnam freight trains.

At present, the volume of China-Vietnam freight trains originating from Guangxi accounts for 80 percent of the total railway container shipments to Vietnam nationwide, and the Nanning International Railway Port has preliminarily established itself as a key distribution center for railway exports to Vietnam in China.
