Guangxi appoints 6 storytellers for intl exchanges

The 2024 Guangxi Story Sharing Program kicked off at Guangxi University on Dec 16, with six newly-appointed storytellers from home and abroad sharing stories about Guangxi, ASEAN, and other countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

The program provided an effective platform for deepening exchanges, enhancing understanding, and fostering consensus among individuals from various backgrounds.

South African architect Ian Hamlinton shared his experiences blending and reshaping architectural aesthetics in China, showcasing the harmonious coexistence of different cultural elements in architecture.

Shi Rufei, the representative practitioner of Liubao tea-making skills at the autonomous region level, shared how Liubao tea went international through cultural exchanges and became a bridge connecting Guangxi with the rest of the world.

The stories told during the event are a testament to the friendly cooperation between Guangxi and BRI countries, showcasing the crucial role of mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign civilizations in advancing regional prosperity and development.
