A batch of 330-kilogram Hechi frozen fresh beef arrived in Hong Kong on Dec 23, making Hechi the first city in Guangxi to supply frozen fresh beef to Hong Kong.
The frozen fresh beef was transported by road to the Wenjindu Port of Shenzhen. To ensure smooth transport to Hong Kong, Hechi Customs proactively intervened and conducted research. They helped the company obtain the necessary qualifications and visited the company to offer comprehensive guidance on production, processing, storage, and transportation.
"Hechi has a developed livestock and poultry industry, with abundant agricultural product resources. The numbers of beef cattle, mutton sheep, and poultry breeds have ranked first in Guangxi for many consecutive years, laying a solid foundation for the smooth development of the Hong Kong supply business," said Lu Xiujie, deputy director of Hechi Customs.
Moving forward, Hechi Customs will strive to ensure the safe and stable supply of meat products, help enterprises establish the Hechi brand of high-quality specialty livestock products, enrich the supply of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and promote the high-quality development of Hechi's livestock breeding and processing industry by providing customs solutions and contributing customs efforts.
