All major projects under construction in Hechi resume work

According to the Hechi development and reform commission, as of April 3, 48 autonomous region-level projects and 200 city-level projects under construction in Hechi have all been resumed, with 8,064 and 34.99 million people returning to their positions and on duty respectively.

In 2020, the first batch of 414 major projects in Hechi will be promoted at the autonomous region and municipal levels, including four categories of new construction, continued construction, completion and commissioning, as well as preparation, with an annual planned investment of 37.72 billion yuan ($5.34 billion).

In order to promote the construction of major projects, Hechi has issued various measures to promote the rapid increase of the reinstatement intensity and return rate of investment projects from the aspects of strengthening personnel protection, material security, and financial services. It has also promoted the construction of the projects by starting from refining the key objectives and responsibilities of major projects, strengthening the speed of approval, as well as ensuring the demand for land.

Qin Kelun, director of the service center for major projects in Hechi, said that the city will be commited to seizing the time and catching up with the projects' progress to ensure the accelerated implementation of the city's key project construction.

Target tasks and tasks for the preliminary work of new construction, as well as preparation of major projects during the year have been assigned to relevant responsible units in counties (districts) and cities.

A special work team led by a municipal government leader was set up to be responsible for 58 key projects, with a total investment of more than 245 billion yuan, to solve problems encountered in project construction by carrying out research, full-course tracking, and coordination.

Driven by strong measures, the city has started construction of 53 major projects in the first quarter of this year, with a total investment of 5.59 billion yuan.
