The in-depth tour is part of "The Next Station, Guangxi" inbound tourism initiative, focusing on Bama Yao autonomous county, Donglan county and Yizhou district – three areas that showcase Hechi's signature strengths: longevity traditions, intangible cultural heritage and striking karst landscapes.

Bama, the globally recognized "land of longevity", enchants with its otherworldly landscapes and wellness ethos. Visitors glided through Bainiao Cave on bamboo rafts, witnessing the ethereal interplay of light and shadow on jagged stalactites in the "time tunnel".

At Bama Century Health Garden, they breathed air rich in negative ions, sampled wellness teas and practiced tai chi, embodying the region's slow-living philosophy.

Donglan merges scenic splendor with emotional depth. Dawn at Pohao Lake treated the group to a breathtaking sea of clouds sweeping over karst peaks, a sight immortalized by drone footage.

The lake's campsite balanced rustic charm with cultural experiences: bronze drum performances, local specialty stalls and an evening lawn concert.

For an American creator, the lake's tranquility stirred cherished childhood memories, leading to a heartfelt video call with her grandfather.

Yizhou, hometown of legendary folk singer Liu Sanjie, delivered a vivid folk feast. Creators slipped into colorful Zhuang costumes, cruised the Longjiang River singing mountain ballads and joined rhythmic bamboo dances.

They took on a folk song duet challenge, savored five-colored glutinous rice as a reward and chuckled through a playful performance of Zhuang marriage customs.

The tour highlights Hechi's remarkable progress in comprehensive tourism development. In recent years, the city has upgraded transportation networks, enhanced scenic facilities and dug deeper into its cultural roots, launching premium routes such as "longevity wellness tours", "cultural landscape tours" and "ethnic customs tours".

As a key part of "The Next Station, Guangxi", the campaign supports Hechi's global promotion with practical measures: Air China's cross-border ticket discounts and inbound tour group subsidies.

By showcasing its distinct cultural and tourism icons, Hechi extends a warm invitation to travelers worldwide, inviting them to explore a destination where natural beauty, cultural heritage and authentic experiences converge.
