Panika Pittayavestsoonthon, consul general of Thailand in Guangzhou highlighted collaborations between high-tech firms like EHang and various Thai companies which promote technological advancements in Thailand's tourism and agriculture sectors.
Loh Tuck Keat, consul general of Singapore in Guangzhou praised Huangpu's international development landscape, singling out the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City for its strides in industrial growth and tech innovation.
Martin Klose, executive director and board member of the German Chamber of Commerce in South and Southwest China, commended Huangpu's business-friendly environment and expressed his eagerness to contribute German expertise in green technology to the cause of sustainable development.
In recent years, Huangpu district has attracted numerous global enterprises through its various investment strategies, hosting over 5,000 multinational corporations and more than 330 Fortune 500 investment projects. From January to October 2024, the district welcomed 248 newly established foreign enterprises, with high-tech industries accounting for 60.9 percent of actual use of foreign capital.
The event also featured a special session for enterprise roadshows, where local companies showcased their independent innovations and outstanding products.
