The Children's Park branch of the Guangzhou Library covers an area of about 700 square meters. It is meticulously designed, taking into account children’s age as well as their unique physiological and psychological characteristics.

The library is composed of a parent-child picture book area, a book-lending area for primary and secondary school students, a comprehensive book-lending area, an exhibition hall and a multi-functional room. Featuring a spacious, bright, comfortable and lively atmosphere, it is an ideal reading place for parents and their children to spend quality time.

The library has selected 20,000 volumes of collection in parent-child picture books, readings for primary and secondary school students, as well as books in parenting education and leisure. Reading resources in the library are updated regularly.

The library is equipped with a Goethe-Institut's digital book borrowing machine pre-loaded with more than 2,000 kinds of exclusively authorized books, and 100 e-books are released every month simultaneously with paper editions. Readers can download and read for free by scanning the QR code on the machine with their mobile phones.
