Baiyun's Jiahewanggang Station, an interchange station between Guangzhou Metro Lines 2, 3, and 14, is a vital transportation hub in northern Guangzhou, local media outlets reported on Sept 12.

The station has eight entrances and exits in total. It connects Guangzhou's districts, including Baiyun and Tianhe, and the four core transportation hubs, such as Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Guangzhou Railway Station.

It ranks among Guangzhou's top three metro line stations in terms of the number of passengers and is expected to be the starting station of the Metro Line 14 Phase II project currently under construction, developing into a four-line transit station.

In addition, a large bus hub has been developed near the station to provide more convenience for the passengers. With the subsequent opening of seven metro lines, the new grid will significantly improve Baiyun's traffic network.

The Jiahewanggang area plans to build a mobile internet industrial park covering new-generation information technology like cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence. It also strives to welcome a number of emerging small and medium-sized technology enterprises with solid potential.
