The digital operation headquarters project of Hongxing Industrial held its foundation-laying ceremony on Oct 7.

The project is located in the center of the Design Capital of Guangzhou, close to Huangbian Station on Metro Line 2 and Henan Station on Metro Line 14. It is about 20 kilometers away from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

With a total investment of about 500 million yuan ($70 million), the project features a land area of about 11,300 square meters and a building area of 23,400 sq m.

The project was listed for transfer on April 22, which is the 12th commercial land transferred in Phase I of the Design Capital of Guangzhou.

Guo Wuwen, head of Hongxing Industrial, said that they chose to settle the project in Baiyun due to the district's advantages in industrial development, preferential policies, and resources, especially in digital retail and live broadcast e-commerce.

The project aims to create a world-class leading loungewear brand by integrating design, research and development, incubation, industrialization, as well as digitization, thus accelerating the enterprise's digital development.

Starting operations on Aug 31, the Design Capital of Guangzhou has introduced high-quality enterprises' headquarters, including those by Guangdong Communication Planning and Design Institute Group, CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering, C Cheng Holdings, Guangzhou Adolph Personal Care Products as well as CP Lotus.
