New company settles in Baiyun to boost rail transit industry

Guangzhou Zhenning Transportation Technology, which was co-founded by the Guangzhou Metro Design and Research Institute and is a subsidiary of Xinzhu Corporation, unveiled its plaque on Oct 8.
The company aims to promote embedded rail products to provide China's rail transit industry with a comprehensive vibration reduction solution that can reduce noise, enhance daily maintenance, as well as prevent stray currents.
Located in Guangzhou Private Science and Technology Park, the company is expected to add new development momentum to the formation of a 100-billion-yuan-level ($14-billion-level) rail transit industrial cluster in Baiyun district.
In addition, Phase I and Phase II of Baiyun's high-tech rail transit industrial base are expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2023.
The design and research building of Guangzhou Metro Design and Research Institute is expected to be completed and put into use in the second half of 2023.
