Based on the continuous development and reform of Guangzhou’s city scale and urban planning, Baiyun is embracing a new round of growth opportunities thanks to its appropriate strategic layout, strong industrial foundation, complete supporting system and pleasant living environment.
The planning of Baiyun New Town and seven other major areas in the district has been progressing steadily.
The amount of land available for construction in urban and rural Baiyun totals 226 square kilometers, including about 20 square kilometers of reserved land and about 130 square kilometers of reforming land.
The construction area in the district accounts for 14 percent of Guangzhou’s gross area, ranking among the top in the city and featuring strong project capacity and broad development prospects.
