Baiyun secures 30 major projects worth $7.3b
The 9th China Guangzhou International Investment Conference and the Forbes China Venture Capital Forum were held at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center on April 18. The events brought together numerous venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, experts, and scholars.
During the conference, 30 major projects were signed to settle in Baiyun, with a total investment of nearly 50 billion yuan ($7.3 billion). These projects covered a range of industries, including automobiles, railway transportation, new energy, medicine, new generation information technology, and aviation logistics. Strategic partnerships were also formed with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Guangdong Manufacturers Association.
Of the 30 signed projects, the hydrogen fuel commercial vehicle manufacturing base project and the headquarters project for China Visionary Group in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, were signed at the Guangzhou forum. These projects have triggered a new wave of investment to Baiyun.
The signing of these projects marks a new milestone in Baiyun's development and will further strengthen its position as a hub for investment and business opportunities in southern China.
