The first Guangzhou Baiyun International Logistics Industry Summit (2023) was held on May 6 at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center.

With the theme of "new global silk road for logistics industry", the summit aims to create an open and international exchange platform while also promoting the high-quality development of Baiyun's logistics industry.

At the summit, guests from leading logistics enterprises and business associations from across China and abroad offered suggestions for Baiyun to help it build a world-class modern logistics industry cluster.

Baiyun Logistics Think Tank was established on the same day, aiming to provide a solid foundation for the development of the district's logistics industry.

Baiyun district is the largest and most populous central urban area in Guangzhou, with several major transportation hubs, such as Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, Guangzhou International Port, and Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station.

Additionally, Baiyun has made great efforts to usher in new economic growth. In 2022, the district's revenue from its air transportation and modern logistics industries reached 121.7 billion yuan ($17.6 billion). A number of key projects have also been put into operation, including the headquarters for Shihu Intelligent Supply Chain Logistics and Guangzhou Baiyun Shenshan Logistics Hub.
