Early May is the time for female blue peafowls to lay and hatch eggs. After a month, the baby peafowls grow up, and their mother finally gets to take them out for activities in Baiyun district's Maofeng Mountain Scenic Spot, local media outlets reported on June 12.

The female peafowl moves slowly and scrapes the sand and soil to teach the little ones how to find food. These golden feathered baby peafowls look so cute when swaying and following their mother in the grass. 

When these babies mature, their feathers will be adorned with eye-shaped spots in stunning shades of purple, blue, yellow and red. It will be a dazzling sight when they spread their tail feathers.
