In Guangzhou's Baiyun district, an abundance of seasonal fruits such as lychees, grapes, and figs hang all over the trees, giving off a fruity aroma, local media outlets reported on June 23.

The Guiwei lychee, also known as Guizhi, derives its name from the fragrance of osmanthus flowers. The fruit is almost spherical, medium in size, and has a thin and delicate skin that tends to crack easily. Its sweet taste makes it a refreshing crowd favorite.
