After four months of construction, the road connecting Shenshan Avenue in Baiyun's Jianggao town to the Guangzhou-Huadu Expressway opened to traffic, local media outlets reported on Oct 23.

This project begins at the intersection of Shenshan Avenue and Xiahua No 5 Road, near Shuanggang village in Jianggao town and ends at the Guangzhou-Huadu Expressway in the east.

The road mainly serves as a logistics link between the Jianggao and Shenshan areas, and it is also an important transportation node connecting Baiyun and Huadu.

The total investment for this project is approximately 7 million yuan ($1 million), covering an area of around 2,400 square meters. By transforming the existing "T" intersection into a cross intersection, the project has not only optimized traffic, but also enhanced safety and efficiency at that road section.

Currently, residents and commuters can enjoy a smoother and safer travel experience on the newly completed road. This project not only strengthens the connectivity between different areas, but also promotes economic development and social progress in the district.
