The 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangzhou) Hydrogen Energy Industry Conference and the 1st Guangzhou New Energy Storage Industry Conference were held in Baiyun district on Dec 6.

During the conference, Baiyun and Sany Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote the development of Sany's hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and related components in Baiyun.

They will jointly support the construction of a national hydrogen energy industry hub in Baiyun by collaborating with upstream and downstream industries in the hydrogen energy field in Guangdong.

In addition, Guangdong New Energy Storage National Research Institute has obtained approval to establish the first national-local joint new energy storage innovation center in Baiyun district.

New energy is an important trend for future development, while hydrogen energy and new energy storage are key areas and critical technologies within this sector.

Baiyun district has the ambition to expand and strengthen its hydrogen energy industry.
