Baiyun signs 30 projects during investment conference

The 10th China (Guangzhou) International Investment Conference Baiyun district session was held at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center on April 9.
Baiyun district signed 30 investment projects with a total amount of 51.9 billion yuan ($7.18 billion), covering multiple industries, including new energy, modern urban consumption, biopharmaceuticals, aviation and modern logistics, construction, and new-generation information technology. New energy projects accounted for one-third of the total.
Among them, the jointly built national and local new energy innovation center settled in Baiyun, marking an important step for the district in promoting new industrialization and achieving the "dual-carbon" goals. Guangdong New Energy National Research Institute Company is set to establish a globally influential innovation platform for new energy manufacturing, aiming to promote the development of new productive forces.
Baiyun is expected to also develop the biopharmaceutical industry and build a modern industrial system. In collaboration with companies such as Frontier Service Group and South China Construction Engineering Corporation, Baiyun is poised to establish the Baiyun International Joint Medical Center project to provide high-end medical services and promote sustainable economic and social development.
Baiyun is set to continue to create a low-cost, high-quality production and living environment, an enterprise-friendly urban area, and an innovative and entrepreneurial soil, providing comprehensive services and support for enterprises with the most favorable policies and utmost sincerity.
