In this year's Canton Fair, Baiyun district achieved an offline export transaction volume of $512 million, a 45 percent increase from the previous year. A total of 174 companies from Baiyun participated in the fair, showcasing a strong manufacturing prowess in industries such as household appliances, leather goods, automotive parts, cosmetics, electronics, and general machinery.

The Canton Fair managed to attract a significant number of buyers, and Baiyun enterprises leveraged their strengths to display high-quality and cost-effective products to the global market, achieving remarkable results. Among the participating companies, Guangzhou Boaos Electric Appliances Company stood out by completing transactions worth over $10 million. They specialize in exporting commercial electric appliances and showcased over 40 products during the exhibition.

Baiyun enterprises expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of the fair as they received a substantial number of orders and are confident about future exports. Guangzhou Keou Lighting Company made its debut at the fair and experienced increased brand exposure. They also received a growing number of appointments from customers who wished to visit their factory.

Baiyun also lobbied for the establishment of the Baiyun Meiwai Fashion Industry Base exhibition area at the Canton Fair, showcasing distinctive cosmetics, leather goods, bags, and apparel industries, which received positive feedback.

Huang Xiaotong, secretary-general of the Baiyun Garment and Apparel Industry Promotion Association, highlighted that the Baiyun Meiwai Fashion Industry Base receives almost 1,000 buyers every day. This provides a significant opportunity for Baiyun's unique brands to gain exposure, and while also showcasing the potential and dynamism of Baiyun enterprises.
