New cultural tourism attractions set to open in Baiyun
During the kick-off event for key projects in Baiyun district on May 29, six projects were signed, involving rural cultural tourism, flower planting, and other sectors.
One of these projects is the Baishan Mountain Reception Hall, located in Baishan village, recognized as one of the first top 10 beautiful villages in Guangzhou. Covering an area of 10,000 square meters, its design concept, "Leaping over the Dragon Gate" is anticipated to include a public service center, a boutique hotel, a Baishan Mountain Square, and a Hetangling Park. It is expected to introduce agricultural product displays, cultural and creative industries, and various tourism formats, aiming to become the most beautiful entrance to Maofeng Mountain.

The Baiyun Butterfly Orchid Industry Park Construction Project in Guangzhou plans to invest 800 million yuan ($110.48 million) to build a butterfly orchid industry park in Xiashi village, Jianggao town. This park is set to encompass a seedling cultivation base and an e-commerce incubation base, with the goal of creating a comprehensive modern agricultural park with integrated functions.

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Super Agricultural Complex project draws inspiration from Italy's Fico Eataly World, tailored to the characteristics of the GBA, to create a comprehensive project integrating agricultural production, processing, leisure, dining, and education. The park is poised to feature functional areas such as planting zones, processing zones, and food zones, emphasizing the experience of original ecology and flavors, promoting leisure agriculture and rural tourism.
