Baiyun unveils comprehensive plan for Fannan Lake Cultural Tourism Area
Baiyun district recently released the "Baiyun District Fannan Lake Cultural Tourism Area Comprehensive Planning Scheme" with the aim of transforming the area into a national-level demonstration bay area integrating production, ecology, and cultural tourism.
Located in the eastern part of Baiyun district, the area covers four streets: Tonghe, Yongping, Dayuan, and Jingxi, with a planned area of 19.5 square kilometers. It boasts rich natural landscapes and cultural resources such as Baiyun Mountain, Nanhu Mountain, and the Shennong Caotang Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The plan focuses on cultural tourism and proposes the creation of five major Fannan Lake intellectual properties (IPs), including recreation, international exchanges, health and leisure, high-end vacations, and cultural creativity, aiming to provide visitors with diverse experiences.
The Fannan Lake area will focus on recreation, international exchanges, and health and leisure, planning to construct a Lingnan-style exhibition hall, hold urban events, and offer consumer experiences, leisure experiences, and recreation to boost nighttime economic vitality and inject new energy into the development of the district.
