Despite its prickly exterior, the red-fleshed dragon fruit offers sweet flesh with a sweetness level exceeding 20 degrees and is rich in dietary fiber and anthocyanins. The dragon fruit chips introduced last year were met with immediate popularity, selling out swiftly due to their unique and appealing texture.
Projections for this year estimate a dragon fruit yield of approximately 120 jin (60 kilogram) per hectare at the Migang village base. The harvesting season is expected to last from July to November, promising a season of abundance.
