Guangzhou Baiyun International Conference Center opens for public visits
The highly anticipated Guangzhou Baiyun International Conference Center, a new landmark in South China, is now open for public visits.
This state-of-the-art facility managed by the Lingnan Group and a member of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) integrates conference, exhibition, hotel, catering, performance, and office functions.
The highlight of the center’s recent expansion, the Baiyun International Hall, made its grand debut on Jan 28, 2023. Together with the first phase, it forms a comprehensive international conference center of over 450,000 square meters. It is the first in South China to have over 100 meeting rooms and more than 1,100 guest rooms, and it can host conferences with up to 10,000 attendees.
The Baiyun International Hall stands out with its unique design concept, “Baiyun Mountain Overlapping Scenery”, which elegantly blends traditional Lingnan architectural elements with modern design. The hall's structure, inspired by the form of a soaring wild goose blends classic Lingnan architecture features with contemporary interpretations of flying eaves.
Adding to the center’s charm, are its beautifully designed gardens, themed “Cantonese Charm”. These gardens include three distinct courtyards, each designed with the concept “Nation-Hometown-World” featuring multi-level viewing platforms and a variety of Lingnan plants, offering visitors a serene and leisurely experience.
Inside the hall, visitors can embark on an artistic journey, exploring 21 unique and exquisite art pieces, including celadon, traditional Chinese paintings, and embroidery, elegantly displayed along the corridors.
