Olympic champions join school opening ceremonies in Baiyun
On Sept 2, Baiyun's primary and secondary schools and kindergartens celebrated the start of the new academic year. Olympic champions graced the opening ceremonies, bringing excitement and inspiration to students.
At Fangyuan Experimental Primary School, diving world champion and Olympic gold medalist Luo Yutong shared his journey with students, encouraging them to pursue their dreams with determination and fostering a sense of motivation and enthusiasm.
Olympic silver medalist in women's field hockey, Zhong Jiaqi, visited Longgui School. Surrounded by enthusiastic students, Zhong inspired them to strive for excellence and bring honor to the country. The students welcomed her with poetry recitations and songs, creating a memorable and uplifting atmosphere.
Baiyun also inaugurated 13 new school campuses for the new academic year. Among them, the highly anticipated Baiyun Campus of Guangdong Experimental High School opened doors to the first batch of new high school students.
