New pharmaceutical project to boost Baiyun's health industry
Baiyun is set to enhance its pharmaceutical industry by acquiring a new industrial land parcel. The land is in the Beauty and Healthcare Industrial Park in Zhongluotan town. Covering an area of approximately 51,523 square meters, the site will be developed by a subsidiary of Xiuzheng Group.
The company plans to invest around 730 million yuan ($103 million) to establish a comprehensive life and health pharmaceutical research, development, and manufacturing center. The project will include various research and development offices, pilot and medium-scale laboratories, GMP workshops, and production centers, creating an integrated biomedical health technology industry ecosystem.
Beauty and Healthcare Industrial Park, part of the Guangzhou Private Science and Technology Park's "One Core, Three Parks" initiative, already hosts several leading pharmaceutical companies such as Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Holding, Mingxing Pharmaceutical, Hejigong Pharmaceutical, and Boen Vitamin. This new project is expected to strengthen further the upstream and downstream industrial chain of biomedicine and modern traditional Chinese medicine manufacturing.
Baiyun is committed to providing ample land resources to support high-quality enterprises and advanced manufacturing development. The district aims to create a broad platform for industrial upgrading towards high-end, clustered, and diversified growth, thereby promoting the high-quality economic development of Baiyun.
