With the National Day holiday fast approaching, Baiyun district has arranged to host a series of vibrant cultural activities on Oct 1-6.

The festivities will take place at the newly opened Xueshan Tongde Commercial Plaza – promising a rich blend of music, dance, drama and visual arts.

The celebrations will kick off on Oct 1 with an opening ceremony and a grand evening gala – featuring performances by renowned artists, internet celebrities and local art groups.

On Oct 2, a matchmaking event will provide a social platform for young people. The following day, Oct 3, will showcase traditional hanfu attire paired with contemporary Chinese music, offering a deep dive into the evolution of Chinese fashion and music.

Oct 4 will focus on public fitness, with professional trainers leading exercise sessions and nutritionists sharing health tips. On Oct 5, the spotlight will be on youth and pets – with a series of fashion shows, street dance performances and pet exhibitions.

The final day, Oct 6, will highlight technological innovations and anime, featuring exhibitions from local tech companies and anime displays.

In addition to these events, Baiyun will host various other activities, including a comic exhibition, a public market showcasing intangible cultural heritage and a piano performance at Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station.

Baiyun Library will also offer a series of exhibitions and performances celebrating China's achievements.
