The Baiyun district people's government signed a cooperation agreement with Guangzhou Municipal Construction Group to jointly develop the "Bay Area Zhiyun Park" on Oct 14. This initiative aims to establish a high-level talent hub for Baiyun district, Guangzhou.

The "Bay Area Zhiyun Park" is set to function as a comprehensive center that integrates technology innovation and talent development. It is set to focus on attracting and nurturing industry leaders, young talents, and high-skilled professionals. The park is envisioned as a home for doctoral talents and a hub for significant scientific research achievements.

Guangzhou Municipal Construction Group has consistently secured a position in the Fortune Global 500 for four consecutive years. In 2023, it achieved a ranking of 361st, driven by a revenue exceeding 300 billion yuan ($42.16 billion). The group boasts 155 research and innovation platforms and a workforce of 12,000 technical personnel, positioning it at the forefront of the national technology innovation system.

In recent years, Baiyun has accelerated the development of modern industrial clusters and major platforms, promoting coordinated development in education, technology, and talent. Baiyun has consistently ranked among the top 30 national innovation districts.
