The 2024 Vertical Marathon at Maofeng Mountain took place on Oct 20, attracting over 1,000 trail running enthusiasts from across the country.

The event marked the beginning of the autumn fitness season with a unique vertical marathon, with the participants starting their race through the picturesque autumn landscape of Guangzhou – capital of South China's Guangdong province.
