Baiyun to establish world-class agricultural market
The foundation stone for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Agricultural Produce Trading Center was laid on Oct 29 in Zhongluotan town, Baiyun district, Guangzhou. This ambitious project aims to create a state-of-the-art agricultural and food product wholesale market modeled after the renowned Rungis International Market in France.

The new trading center will span an impressive 133.3 hectares, dwarfing the current largest markets in China and Japan. The project is a collaboration between the Qiaoxin Group and the Rungis International Market, ensuring that the new center will benefit from advanced management practices and global supply chain integration.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Agricultural Produce Trading Center will feature many facilities, including a central kitchen, smart logistics, agricultural product testing, supply chain finance, and cross-border trade services. It will also host a global food exhibition center, a smart cold chain center, and an international convention center, making it a multifaceted destination for business and leisure.
