The renovation maintains the original design while incorporating modern features to meet functional requirements. Key improvements include the installation of new canopies, upgraded athlete and referee rest areas, doping control stations, and VIP rooms. The gymnasium now boasts advanced systems for flag control, standard clocks, venue sound, lighting, and information dissemination, with the original standard-definition screens upgraded to 4K ultra-high-definition displays.
The center of Hall 1 features removable wooden flooring that spans approximately 950 square meters. This flooring is specifically designed to comply with international competition standards. The renovation also includes implementing a 3D visual gate system, AR navigation, and interactive light and shadow systems, enhancing the smart venue experience.
