Strategically located adjacent to the Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station, Tancun is set to leverage its proximity to this central transportation hub to optimize land use and foster a balanced community. The development covers approximately 234 hectares, with a total construction volume of around 3.74 million square meters. The plan emphasizes creating a high-quality living environment by integrating industrial and residential spaces along the Shijing River.
Transportation improvements include enhancing the existing road network, increasing road density, and optimizing road alignments. Public services are also poised to upgrade substantially, adding 182 facilities, including schools, kindergartens, cultural centers, community centers, public parking lots, and community health service stations.
Environmental enhancements are projected to focus on water safety and the aesthetic quality of the Shijing River and other waterways. The plan includes adjustments to the drainage channels to increase river length and water surface area, thereby improving the water landscape and ecological functions.
