Large commercial complex of over 100,000 sq m set to open in Baiyun

On Dec 21, the delivery ceremony for Plot 2 of the Xiamao Village Industrial Park transformation project took place on Baiyun Lake Street.

With an area of approximately 27,500 square meters, Plot 2 has been developed into the Baiyun Lake Kingbuy Plaza, filling the commercial gap within the Baiyun Lake Digital Technology City area.

Located at the intersection of Guanghua Road and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Expressway, Baiyun Lake Kingbuy Plaza encompasses a commercial space exceeding 100,000 sq m, integrating shopping, leisure, entertainment, and dining. As of Dec 20, the leasing contract signing rate has reached 53.1 percent, with an expected leasing rate of 74.6 percent.

Since 2004, Kingbuy Commercial has been consistently expanding its presence in Baiyun district. With a residential population of over 800,000 within a 3-kilometer radius of the project, it is ideally located, has a diversified customer structure, and is expected to achieve annual operating revenue exceeding 2.4 billion yuan ($328.83 million).

The project is set to become a key planned area in Baiyun, aiming to create a modern park integrating industrial office centers, commercial complexes, and comprehensive e-sports arenas. It is expected to attract or incubate over 40 large-scale enterprises, contributing an estimated collective income of around 24 million yuan annually to Xiamao village.
