The project covers approximately 78 mu (5.2 hectares) and has a construction area of 85,000 square meters. It plans to establish five national-level laboratories, including a New Energy Storage Technology Research Lab and a New Power System Technology Research Lab, aiming to build a globally influential innovation and research base for clean, low-carbon electric power technology that integrates conceptual validation, technical research, testing, and operational verification.
This project represents a significant investment in Baiyun's new energy storage industry. The first building is expected to be topped out by the end of this year, with full completion targeted by the end of 2026. The park is designed to meet China's Two-Star Green Building and near-zero-carbon building standards, incorporating sponge city concepts and establishing an intelligent operations system. Upon completion, it will foster a collaborative "industry-academia-research-application" innovation ecosystem, drive development across the upstream and downstream industrial chain, attract high-end research talent, and promote the transformation of scientific achievements and industrial upgrading.
