Located in Dashigang village, Jianggao town, the hospital is being developed in accordance with Tier-III, Grade-A comprehensive hospital standards, covers 146 mu (9.7 hectares), and plans to reach a capacity of 1,800 beds. The first phase will include 600 beds and a total floor area of 144,500 square meters, comprising outpatient, emergency, and medical-technology inpatient complexes, a fever clinic, and other facilities. The project is expected to be completed by 2027.

As a key component of Guangzhou's public health emergency network, the hospital is a modern institution that integrates preventive care, clinical treatment, emergency response, and scientific research and education. It aims to establish an innovative model that incorporates advanced medical services and public health management to address the region's shortage of high-quality medical resources and strengthen its capacity to respond to public health emergencies.

The hospital will be operated by Guangzhou First People's Hospital Baiyun Branch. Through its parent hospital's resources, it will drive disciplinary development and talent cultivation, providing patients with comprehensive, lifelong, and integrated services.
