Binhai Amusement Park (east of Dajiao Mountain)

Updated: 2018-10-24

Located on the east side of the Dajiao Mountain in Nansha district, Guangzhou city, Binhai Amusement Park covers an area of about 75 hectares, including a land area of 56 hectares. It is the largest seaside park in Guangzhou with a sea view theme.

The park integrates three primary colors of Nansha: blue, which represents the ocean, green, which represents ecology and bronze, symbolizing the history and culture of Nansha as the ancient battlefield of the Opium War.

The park highlights the design concept of the rhyme of nature and culture. The rhyme of nature embodies the natural ecological charm of the park surrounded by the DajiaoJiao Mountain and the Pearl River, and the South China Sea. The rhyme of culture embodies the ancient and modern heritages, and the attractions of Guangzhou's history and culture to the people both at home and abroad, including the historical maritime Silk Road culture, modern port logistics culture (modern Maritime Silk Road), and marine leisure culture.

Completed in 2007, the park includes three scenic spots, namely, the cultural garden, the Binhai scenic area, and Binhai wetland. Cultural garden, with a marine culture square as the center, has two axes running through the whole garden from two directions, representing the old and new maritime Silk Road. Binhai scenic area, located in the southern part of the park, features the sea viewing, tide watching, water playing and bathing sunshine. The Binhai wetland, located in the northern region of the park features mangroves and hydrophyte.

Nansha Binhai Amusement Park faces the Lingding Ocean. It is a wonderful place for enjoying sea scenery, listening to the tide, strolling on the beach, and experiencing sea breeze.
