Notice of the General Office of Nansha District People's Government of Guangzhou Municipality on Issuing the Medical Assistance Scheme for secondary reimbursement in Nansha District of Guangzhou Municipality

Participants may apply for sporadic reimbursement from the operators within two years since the date of discharge from the hospital; applications beyond the specified time limit will not be accepted.

The operators shall complete the review and closure of secondary reimbursement materials within 15 working days from the date when the participant submits the complete set of such materials, and allocate the sporadic reimbursement funds to the beneficiary.

1. One-stop Real-time Settlement

One-stop real-time settlement refers to the registration of medical insurance for urban and rural residents, medical assistance, "Yinling Ankang" commercial insurance funded by the government and secondary reimbursement in HIS system of designated hospitals (settlement system), with the registration presented on medical insurance settlement sheet or invoice. The exempted amount based on secondary reimbursement shall be paid by the designated hospital first, and the operators shall settle with the designated hospital within 10 working days after receiving and verifying the hospital settlement statements every month.

2. Sporadic Reimbursement

Sporadic reimbursement refers to that after discharge from the hospital, if the participant fails to make one-stop real-time settlement for medical insurance or medical assistance for urban and rural residents at the time of discharge, he/she or his/her legal guardian or legal successor (in case of a deceased participant) shall apply for sporadic reimbursement via the special service window of a designated hospital in Nansha district or via WeChat online services. Certificates and materials required are listed as follows:

1. Original invoice;

2. Photocopy of bank card or passbook of the participant;

3. The original and photocopy (front and back) of the identity card of the participant (house register and birth certificate shall be accepted for minors);

4. Medical insurance settlement sheet.
