Notice of the General Office of Nansha District People's Government of Guangzhou Municipality on Issuing the Medical Assistance Scheme for secondary reimbursement in Nansha District of Guangzhou Municipality

Secondary reimbursement amount = (Total hospitalization cost – medical insurance reimbursement – medical assistance – other reimbursement) × 90 percent.

2. Reimbursement Standards for Urban and Rural Residents

(1) Assistance within the scope of basic medical expenses

If the participant is hospitalized in a designated medical institution in Nansha district, after deducting the reimbursed amount of "Yinling Ankang" commercial insurance funded by the municipal health department, social security plan and medical assistance from the basic medical expenses calculated according to the "Three Catalogue" of Guangzhou Basic Medical Insurance, the remaining non-reimbursed amount shall be eligible for secondary reimbursement according to the following rules:

①  For Grade-I and Grade-II designated hospitals in Nansha district: Secondary reimbursement amount = (Basic medical expenses – medical insurance reimbursement – medical assistance – other reimbursement) × 90 percent.

②For Grade-III designated hospitals in Nansha district: Secondary reimbursement amount = (Basic medical expenses – medical insurance reimbursement – medical assistance – other reimbursement) × 50 percent.

③For designated hospitals outside Nansha district: Secondary reimbursement amount = (Basic medical expenses – medical insurance reimbursement – medical assistance – other reimbursement) × 20 percent.

(2) Assistance beyond the scope of basic medical expenses

If the participant is hospitalized in a designated medical institution in Nansha district, the part after deducting the basic medical expenses from the total hospitalization cost shall be eligible for secondary reimbursement according to the different grades of the hospital as follows.

①  For Grade-I and Grade-II designated hospitals in Nansha district: Reimbursement amount = (Total hospitalization cost - basic medical expenses) × 30 percent.
